Image

In a move that redefines the scale of global AI infrastructure, Meta and NVIDIA have formalized a multiyear, multigenerational strategic partnership as of February 17, 2026. This collaboration focuses on the massive deployment of NVIDIA’s cutting-edge "Vera Rubin" architecture across Meta’s hyperscale data centers. The agreement aims to transition Meta's core workloads from the current Blackwell architecture to the Rubin platform, which utilizes advanced HBM4 memory and custom Vera CPUs.

According to official statements, Meta will integrate millions of these next-generation GPUs to support its vision of "personal superintelligence" for billions of users. The partnership also sees Meta adopting NVIDIA Spectrum-X Ethernet and Confidential Computing to secure AI-driven features on platforms like WhatsApp. This infrastructure shift is projected to deliver up to a 10x reduction in inference costs and a 4x improvement in training efficiency for massive Mixture-of-Experts (MoE) models.
