In an extensive briefing with technology analysts, Oracle unveiled a dual-pronged strategy targeting both hardware capacity bottlenecks and enterprise workflow transformation, pairing a massive expansion of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) with an accelerating deployment of autonomous, agentic applications.

Hyper-Scale Compute Delivery: 850 Megawatts and 300,000 GPUs

Addressing the global compute shortage, Oracle leadership confirmed that the company has moved into an aggressive deployment cadence. Since the conclusion of its previous fiscal quarter, Oracle has delivered 850 megawatts of AI compute capacity and provisioned more than 300,000 GPUs to enterprise clients and AI development firms. According to Oracle executive leadership, this operational velocity stems from years of investment in modular data center engineering, optimized supply chain pipelines, and high-density liquid cooling architectures.

Significantly, Oracle disclosed that it secured over $30 billion in new AI contracts in the first fiscal quarter alone without requiring additional capital expenditure outlays. The company leverages an expansive multitenant fleet model that allows it to maximize resource utilization and scale dedicated clusters rapidly for large-scale training and inference workloads.

The Multicloud Database Backbone

Rather than locking customers exclusively within a single ecosystem, Oracle continues to broaden its multicloud architecture. Oracle database infrastructure is now embedded natively across top tier-one cloud providers, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud. This distributed approach enables enterprises to maintain their core transactional data stores alongside advanced model training pipelines and distributed AI clusters across different cloud fabrics without facing steep egress barriers.

Agentic Applications Take Center Stage in Production

Beyond raw compute power, the shift toward autonomous AI agents is reshaping how business applications operate. Oracle reported that customer engagement with embedded artificial intelligence surpassed 150 million interactions during the quarter. Crucially, autonomous AI agents executed more than 3.5 million times in active production environments, while Fusion AI applications processed over 900 billion tokens.

By embedding domain-specific agentic tools directly into SaaS portfolios, supply chain suites, and enterprise healthcare platforms, organizations can automate multistep administrative actions, perform complex data reconciliations, and drive proactive operational insights directly at the workflow level.
